Multi-Brand Navigation

“How can we create a navigation that provides enough flexibility to work for any brand/situation?” — that was the question we were asked at the inception of this project, a question we kept going back to.

At Disney, the more modular and creative freedom the programming team had, the better. With this new navigation, I designed it with this freedom in mind, making it flexible for different brands. It can be stacked or in-line, with right-to-left text for other languages, and is programmable with fonts and backgrounds for all situations. It required a lot of user testing and sizing iterations to dial the final navigation in, but the end product is something I am very proud of.
